At Natural Hearing, we realise that suffering hearing difficulties of any kind can be a disorientating and distressing experience. Often times the situation can be made worse by poor communication from well-meaning, but overworked and understaffed surgeries without the time or specific skills to cater to those struggling to hear.

We have worked hard to create a friendly, safe, & open environment where all our clients can feel comfortable and secure in the knowledge they will receive a triple-A service at all times.

Our team will listen, examine and advise using their wealth of experience to deliver an effective and appropriate treatment plan. In addition to this, crucially, all steps will be explained in a clear and concise manner so you understand what’s involved and how to best prepare and follow-up once treatment has been completed.

The process starts with the on-line questionnaire (click here) on this site. Once completed and we have some basic information about you and your symptoms, you’ll be contacted to arrange a no-obligation assessment where we can examine in more detail exactly what’s going on with your hearing condition and what we might be able to suggest or supply to help.

What to expect when you visit:

On your visit to Natural Hearing you will be greeted by reception who will confirm your name and appointment details. You will be asked to take a seat in our comfortable waiting area until Max is ready to see you. Drinks may be offered and newspapers and magazines are available if the wait is longer than expected, but usually our clients will wait no longer than five-ten minutes. Please let us know if you are running late or need to rearrange your consultation and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

The assessments and treatments themselves are held in our brand new consultation space which is private and spacious, set just back from the reception area. Parents & partners are welcome to join the consultation as necessary and additional seating will be provided.

What you’ll need to bring:

You’ll be informed of any specific requirements by Max following his review of the initial questionnaire answers you provided. Normally we just ask that you being yourself and a payment card.

How long will it take?

Appointment times vary depending on specific circumstances, but range from 10-40 minutes.

Does Microsuction hurt?
No, not at all – it’s just a little loud.

I’m elderly and will struggle to get to Natural Hearing – can a home visit be arranged?
Yes! Additional charges may apply, but we are happy to visit you at your home or nursing home – please make us aware when you speak with us on the telephone.

Can wax be removed from children’s ears?
Yes! We are happy to review all cases, but very small children (under 5 years) and babies might find the noise uncomfortable and wriggle in the seat. To avoid the potential for accidental damage due to movement, Max might recommend a different treatment option such as ear drops of referral.
