Widex now offers the popular receiver-in-the-ear hearing aid to people with severe to profound hearing loss.

WIDEX SUPER packs the power of traditional BTEs into one of the smallest housings available – but still with room for a long-life battery. SUPER is more power for longer periods, with excellent sound quality and design.

WIDEX SUPER family is available in two price points: SUPER440 and SUPER220.  

SUPER440 comes with 15 channels and is packed with the newest InterEar features for better localization and language comprehension which means that SUPER440 can give access to sounds this group of hearing aid users may not have heard before.  

SUPER440 provides audibility even in difficult listening situations such as meetings, social events and outdoor life.

The power to hear more: SUPER offers more power than ever: Peak output of 143 dB and a peak gain of 87 dB. But power is not all - the user can also expect better language understanding. Included is:  

§  Audibility Extender - making consonants in the high frequency range more audible.  

§  The new Output Extender - boosts the bass sound below 1 kHz, for the important low frequency cues.  

§  And the new Classic Programme - simulating traditional linear amplification.  

Orientation of sound: With WIDEX SUPER440 the user have the power to localize sounds from all directions. SUPER440 comes with all the advantages of InterEar signal processing. The InterEar features include the unique IE compression system for localization of sound sources and the IE Speech Enhancer for focusing on the most dominant speaker. The Digital Pinna supports front-back localization, so the hearing aid user easily can cue in on the speaker. 

All day, all weather: A new microphone cover protects the microphone from moisture and reduces wind noise up to 18dB. With the Weather Cover, people with profound hearing loss can wear their hearing aids all the time no matter what the weather.
