+ How would I know if I have a hearing loss?
It can be difficult to realise you have a hearing loss if it occurs gradually but some of the telltale signs are:
1. You keep asking friends and family to repeat themselves
2. Your husband/wife/ friends tell you that the television is far too loud.
3. You believe that people mumble far too much.
+ Hearing Aids are expensive, how can you guarantee your offering them at the lowest prices?
We check our prices with the competition regularly to make sure we are the most competitively priced.
+ How long does it take to get a hearing aid?
After the initial consultation, it will take approximately 3 weeks to have the hearing aids fitted. The manufacturers have a queue jumping scheme whereby you can have the hearing aids fitted within 3 days at an added cost of 50 pounds per aid.
+ How are the tests conducted?
The tests are conducted in the comfort of your house. Initially 2 tests are carried out to decide the degree and type of your hearing loss. Depending on the outcome of those, further tests may be necessary. We then demonstrate the sound quality from our digital hearing aids and since the test is within your own home we can try them on your television/radio and also with significant others.
+ Are the tests free?
The consultation is completely free and you are under NO OBLIGATION to proceed further with us.
+ How long does the consultation last?
The duration of the consultation is approximately 1.5 – 2 hours long. This includes gathering lifestyle / medical and additional information, doing the audiometric tests and also demonstrating digital hearing aids.
+ I have heard that some hearing aids can connect to mobile phones through Bluetooth technology, do you stock these?
We have the very latest in digital technology at an affordable price. Whether you need the hearing aids to connect to your mp3 player or mobile phone for handsfree talking; or you want a hearing aid that is discreet. We are your first point of contact.
+ Do you have a credit system so I can pay over time?
Customers can pay in monthly instalments, interest free.
+ Typically How long do the batteries last?
Batteries last approximately 5-7 days on a 15 hour/day usage.
+ Why dont I just get a free one from the NHS?
Hearing aids from the NHS are very limited in regard to size and technology. Also, in certain areas the waiting time for fitting of a hearing aid can take up to 18 months.
+ Do you have a money back guarantee if I change my mind?
All our hearing aids come with a 30 day full money back guarantee. This means we won’t retain any of your money at all in the 30 day trial period.
+ Is there any risks buying hearing aids online?
You are not buying a hearing aid online, you are just booking an appointment with one of our audiologists. You will be seen by a real person and you won’t have to part with your money until you are in receipt of your hearing aids.
